Hey guys.. I've decided to buy an Avic Z2 unit for my '97 Supra.. but one of my friends told me that you cannot play ipod videos on your Z2.. is this correct?.. and if so, is there a wire or bypass available? I also wanted to know if you can listen to music while the Navigation screen is in use.. I'd really appreciate some feedback.. thanks guys.

video from ipod is possible, but unnecessarily annoyingly complicated, and you'd have to control it from the ipod.

music while driving is normal operation.

Thanks bro.. I figured playying music while driving was ok.. but I got worried when I heard that it won't play while your using your Navi.. but my main concern was the ipod videos on the screen... and that sucks ass that you can't control it from the panel.. I absolutely love this unit but that feature is somewhat essential.. lol.. thanks again.. I appreciate it.

The D3/N4 and CDBTB200 both stream bluetooth audio. I was actually just referring to your question on which models control ipod video. The N4 is tight because you don't have to press play on the ipod for video like the D3, you can do it all from the touchscreen

Yeah I got it... I was just pissed because I want A2DP on the Z2. Don't really care much about ipod video. A faster/better ipod interface would be nice though (see rant)
