Car was broken into in Toronto, Canada.
Avic D1, Serial #EEMH016167UC
was ripped out of my Passat dash.
Nothing else was stolen.
Total damage just under $4,000. :shock:

the d1 doesn't have a separate brain. Everything is built into the double din chassis.

The car only had the factory alarm at that time.
It now has a couple of surprizes installed.

Most insurance companies don't as a part of your regular insurance cover aftermarket equipment. They tend to require extra to cover aftermarket equipment.
