well i m thinking of picking up an n3 for my gf for xmass. I know the d3 and the n4 will do the whole ipod video playback but does the n3 also play videos onto the screen using just the pioneer ipod plug??

Also does the bluetooth modul works just as good as d3?

hope that helps. thank you

I did more research and it seems that the n3 with the ipod interface sucks and slow and it doesn't play videos, i would have to do the RCA trick and plug it into EXT V1 or V2 (source).... am i correct?

Yes, except you would want to plug it into the A/V input.

And no, the bluetooth sucks on the N3. It was designed for later models like the D3 and N4, etc.

I m starting to believe i should just get her a d3 and call it a night.

her car is an 99 civic... i wonder if it will fit?
