I have a Z2 that is bypassed.

It has started locking up.

I dont think its the temp issue as its cold here now.

Should I install the FW update?

Will it mess up my bypass?

Trouble started when it wouldnt play songs in the library, now its hangs at splash screen.

I am thinking the HD is toast.
