Pioneer or TeleAtlas? Who is it?

Who is responsible for the bad routing?

Is this entirely Tele Atlas or is it Pioneer attempting to route with bad Tele Atlas data? I think I have examples of both.

Can it be fixed?

If it's just bad data, then in theory it can be fixed with an update disk. If it's a bad routing algorithm, can that be updated with a new DVD or is the routing algorithm in firmware on the D3?

Its bad programming on Pioneer's end. I installed TomTom Navigator 6 on my Tilt, which uses the 2007 version of TeleAtlas maps, just like the D3, and the D3 consistently gives me routes 40-50% longer in distance. I'm not sure if you saw the two other threads discussing this, but please contact Pioneer regarding this issue, and give them the examples you have. A few of us already have. They really need to get a new firmware out to address this, but they won't unless alot of people complain.
