im gonna put my ipod adapter somewhere behind my dash, i know the black wire goes to ground and the yellow to a constant but which wire is the constant on my headunit (D1)? isnt the red one the ignition wire so that cuts off when i turn the car off? thanks for the help!

The yellow fused connection on the Z1 harness is the constant power source. Connect to that and you should be set.
