Possible to add another AV input to AVIC-D2 ? IP-Bus?

I was curious what my options are for adding another input to my D2.

Right now I have an external dvd player connected via the RCA inputs.

I want to add another Audio+Video device. I know there are IP-Bus cables that go to red+white RCA's, but I was curious if it's also possible to get video input.

if not, is there another way to add another audio+video device to the screen?

Thanks for any info!

A video switcher is your only real option. The ipbus isn't capable of transferring video. And to my knowledge there isn't a way to convert the a/v bus to rca's either.

Not on the d2 there isn't. The d3 is the only d series that has a front aux input.

My bad. I read that as D3 for some reason.

sorry to bring this post back up from the dead, but I'm finally in the position again.

I have a DVD player hooked up to the RCA inputs.

I want to add another A/V device to the input.

Can I just get some RCA "Y" cables and only power up 1 AV device at a time?

Just buy a switcher
