Well Pioneer now has competition.... I just got a new car with Sync and it is awesome... responds so fast to commands... phone sync is great to... anyone heard if the Z1 will get a better voice command... I still like my Z2 but the Sync in my wifes car is much sharper looking and maps seem to be crisp and just new looking... its bad ass....

The Sync system is in addition to the audio system. The factory Nav system in Ford vehicles is a Pioneer AVIC based system.

Pffft, considering the Sync is Microsoft based I wouldn't be surprised if people start getting the blue screen of death outta nowhere.

The worst part of having the sync system is that you have to buy a Ford. :(

Well all I can say is it kicks ass over the Z1/Z2 much better response and just plain clean.... oh and by the way been driving Fords for 16 years and never had a major issues... but thats another story... for another day...

Pop up and Spyware will come next. You will be on your way to church and a porn moan will start playing with-out warning.

Porn moan??? How much do I have to pay extra for that? :D

Porn moan as ringtone...very nice.

The Z1/Z2 software is based on Windows CE.

I knew I didn't waste my time getting my Microsoft Certification... I am sure there will be a higher need for them once the cars and their nav systems start turning on the humans.

Hahaha. Yeah the Sync sounds cool, but after seeing the quality of my g/f's Mustang, I don't think i'll ever buy a Ford product.

Would you mind starting your own thread? Unless, I missed something that has nothing to do with the current discussion.

Take your 10 year old CD player and go away spammer. They sell them on Pioneer's site, so quit asking here
