Normally, I would have assumed that too. But earlier this week, I was browsing the forums and came across this thread that shows that the US and Euro Nissan Muranos have different dashes. Looks like a double DIN opening to me.

Maybe if you remove the stock radio the opening will be too large so the avic d3 wont fit (i guess) ive been lookin on the web and i cant find any Prados with any double din radios or maybe in-dash dvd players the only ones i foud were dvd players made especialy for toyota prados.... and i love my d3 unit and i dont want to sell it
