I have a May 07 Z2. I just installed it. I did the bypass update on the bench.

When I installed it I grounded the parking brake wire.

Now when I start it up I get a message about the parking brake corrected wrong or something to that effect.

I also get a message about viewing DVD from the front seat when I start moving and video goes away.

As I said, the parking brake is grounded at all times and I have my VSS wire hooked up.

Well that did not work.

I am getting ready to pull the headunit back out. I remember my mute wire/pin did not lock in place as well as I liked on the two wire mod and maybe during all the wire tugging I did on install it pulled out.

Just as a follow up, It was the two wire bypass not making contact. All the tugging to get the harness in the dash pulled the pin back far enough it wasnt making contact.

So all is good now.
