I instaled my avic d3 in my 2007 F150 Lariat but i have a probem, every time i start the truck the parking brake warning comes up,

i use to haveit grounded at first, now i hook it to a wire that comes from the harness, i tested the wire and its working with the shifter lever of my truck, i gess is the one that factory navigations work with, everything works good its just that worning that kips poping up every time i start my truck, plz help

Why would you ground your park brake? You either tie your park brake signal into the D3 park brake line __OR__ ground the D3 park brake line (bypassing the safety). If you have it bypassed, it should be completely independent of your truck's park brake. By shift lever, do you mean park brake lever?

it is conected to the d3 but the wire has to detect a ground from the shifter in order for the d3 to know that the parking brake is off,

is an automatic transmitionn so i realy dont wana be putting the parking brake on every time i wana enter a destination

oh and by shifter lever i mean the shifter from the transmition, the one the u shift from park to drive, reverse, etc

i used a relay on a wire that comes from the shifter a yellow wire that detects when u press the button , i put a relay and it works great, no more parking brake worning
