I bought a z2 and currently have a z1 installed. The unit I had died and will be sending it in to get replaced and will be selling it. I upgraded to the z2 because I can!! Ok here's the question, I already have all the harnesses installed in the truck and shouldnt have to change them right? Also I have the 2 wire bypass done on the Z1 and was wondering if I can leave it like it is, and install the software after I hook it up. Basically, will it affect anything if I leave it bypassed? Then upgrade the software? It might not even need the software upgrade but I just want to check. Also anyone here with a 2006 gator or within this range have the rear view camera hooked up? I'm having a hard time finding the correct back up light wire in the harness. I know its black and pink but there are a couple wires in there that are black and pink...

You should be fine...same hardware, easy swap. You'll know soon enough if you need the update cd.

Nope didnt need the cd. I do need to update to the no freeze software though. I will keep a eye on it and if it freezes then in she goes!! Thanks!
