In Map mode while listening to the radio, I want to change the current function of these buttons from frequency scan to preset memory scan. Is this possible? If so how??

Pressing the joystick up/down cycles through your preset stations. Pressing it left/right changes the next station (numerically).

No, you can't change the functions of any of the buttons on the face. Buy a remote control.
