I just installed a Z2 in my F-250 with the ipod and XM interface. I am getting no sound from the XM radio. It shows channel information and Radio ID on channel 0, but when I hit the XM status it says not connected. I have not registered it yet, but shouldn't I be able to listen to the preview channel with sound?

Take the P-bus cable out of the hole you have it in on the XM box, and put it in the other one

no sound from ipod either. i have it routed as follows: bus cable out the back of the stereo, into the input on the ipod, out the output on the ipod controller to the input on the XM. is this right?

nevermind i'm an idiot. i switched the cables on both of the boxes and now they both work. thanks for the quick response!
