I have a z-1 with the z2 upgrade and two wire bypass and backup camera. For the past 4 months the unit has worked perfect until the last few days I am getting this warning that the emergency brake not hooked up properly and it just keeps coming up after ending it on the screen. Some of my functions work and some have quit working, I am talking about the functions that are enabled by the two wire bypass while the car is moving.

If anybody else has had this problem or knows a fix please reply to this request. Thanks in advance for your help.

I also checked in the settings screen which indicates that the parking break is on, which I thought indicated that the two wire bypass is still working? I have also done a soft reset by using the pen to activate the reset.

Bad connection with the pin you added with the two wire. I had the same issue. During the install, the pin I added to the harness (and grounded) was not secure and worked out.

Thanks for the tip, I will check it out and let you know if it worked.
