Maybe im just retarded but... can someone tell me what kit i need to install my D2 in a 04 Trailblazer? I ordered a DD kit made by american international part number GM-K422 and its definately not the right kit!

that pretty much looks like the same thing i have. I had to cut the middle piece out of mine but the D2 is way to big.

Well I just looked it up and the part that you have is the correct part. There's just something that you are doing wrong, i guess.

Try mounting the two plastic brackets to the D2 and mounting it without using the trim bezel supplied with the kit and see what that looks like.

well.. now that i feel like a complete idiot! lol it would be nice if they supplied screws that worked for the mounting. Guess im going to buy longer screws tomorrow. The flat-head screws supplied with the D2 are too short and the screws supplied with the kit are course thread.
