I have most of my car audio equipment that I pulled out of my crap Civic and wanting to put into my 2007 Pilot LX. I really want to know if the price quote given to me is fair or not.

I have the following:

- 2 15" Concept PT15 Subwoofers (800 watt ea)

- 2x800 Watt Concept Amplifiers (1 per sub)

- 1x400 watt (4 channel) Rockford Fosgate Amplifier (for mids and highs)

- 2 pairs of 2 channel Diamond Audio speakers (will upgrade later when I have more money)

- 1 battery capacitor

I have no wires,RCA's, Distribution or anything besides what I listed above.

One of the places I went to quoted me at about $1300 (without a second battery) to install everything including the wire kit and stuff. The second place quoted me about $700 (without a second battery) and $934 (with the 2nd battery).

The quote is as follows:

1x 1-gauge wiring kit..................$150

3x RCA..........................................$30

1x Custom Subwoofer Box.......$250

1x Labor for 4-channel amp ....$150

1x Labor Subwoofer Amps ..... $100

1x Distribution.............................$25

1x Battery ....................................$199

2x Battery terminals...................$30

Total: $934

I'm on a bit of a budget so I was thinking of not going with the second battery and just not turning up the subs extremely loud for a while until I can afford it. But mainly my question is this: Am I getting ripped off? Or are these fair prices?

Thanks in advance!

doesn't seem unreasonable at all.
