Hi All,

I purchased a D1 a year ago from Circut City. Ever since the tracking of my vehicle on the screen is only good 60 percent of the time. I have a toyota highlander the GPS antenna is installed right where the front window and dashboard meet inside the vehicle.

I have contacted Pioneer who besides having me check the signal on the setup page have only pointed me back to CC, I went in they said they could not duplicate the issue.

Has anyone else seen issue like this? Should I try moving my antenna outside the vehicle? My warranty is up now (sucks).

Thanks for any help!

Is your VSS hooked up?

Yup VSS works perfectly. My arrow (car) on the screen keeps perfect speed track just goes off in the wrong direction or parallels the correct road. Then picks back up again (warps me back).

Move the antenna outside. Sometimes the magnetic field throws it off. I would put it in the back trunk or on the roof. You can just run the wire under the trim and into the trunk.

OK I will be moving the antenna outside the vehicle.

Is there anything I should do to let the GPS reset its signal? Clear the 3D Hybrid etc...

Can't hurt. Remember if you clear all those settings out, it will take a few miles to a couple hundred miles to regain full accuracy so don't worry if its funny when you first drive it
