However, based on what you know now (since having the Z2 installed in your car) would you buy it again or another unit? Also, being that I haven't made the plunge yet and could wait a few more months, might you suggest waiting for the next Z, such as the Z3? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

The Z3 architecture sounds really nice, but thats too long of a wait.

I am very happy with my hacked Z2. If I had to buy again, I would.

Too long of a wait? What kind of speculation has there been as to when the next version of the Z will be released?

I'd absolutely buy it again. There's nothing else out there that I like. My friend has an Eclipse unit and I think it's a piece of sh*t.

despite the little quirks of the z2 I'd buy it again.
