Hi I just installed a D1. Does the bypass for the D3 parking brake work for the D1? Also, I bought the D1 used with no map, so i got one on ebay, and it says to insert the right disc. Which disc do i need to buy, or is there a place where i can download the file and burn it to a disc? Also, does anyone know where i can find a radio sleeve for it? When it was shipped the cage got crushed....

Can't tell you much about your other questions but if you need the correct discs that came with the AVIC-D1, I have the CNDV-50MTP set (equivalent upgrade set to AVIC-D1). Let me know if you want the set (or even just either the East or West disc).
1. The bypass is the same as the D3
2. Demand the seller give you a properly working disc and make sure you ordered a disc that is compatible with the D1.
3. Call Pioneer to order the cage. Should be less than $30.
Empty hole for the bypass is in the main power harness on D1/2, not in the little white one like on the D3. Same otherwise
Ok, cool. Thanks guys. I have actually bought a set of CNDV-60MT discs from a guy on here as well as a cage, and then i ordered a trim piece from pioneer direct. I did the bypass the other day, and it worked, so i went with it. So all in all, i think i am good now. It sounds amazing!
