Anyone know if there are any updated maps for the Z2 yet? I was looking at the new Garmin's and they have new maps that include newer streets that my Z2 doesn't have on the maps. Anyone have any answers or know anything about Pioneer releasing updated maps, please let me know. I'm taking a trip to Florida soon, and it would be great to have the latest maps available.

Ok, so my Z2 and every Z2 out there has the most updated maps available as of now? Pioneer should really have an updated 2008 already out just like garmin does.

Just because Garmin calls it 2008 doesn't mean they magically predicted what roads and POI will appear in the next 12 months, its just what they put on the box.

I agree, Garmin is smart.

From a Marketing point of view, people are most likely to purchase a new item or gift for their existing Navigation system during December or January.

You can think of it as christmas gift or upgrade for the new year.

Why Pioneer releases it mid year is baffling to me.

Yet alot of things Pioneer do doesn't make any sense.

So...by the reasoning I'm seeing posted here, if Pioneer were to label their update as "2009", they would be considered the latest and greatest? Hmmm....all that means to me is they wouldn't be coming out with anything again until 2010.
