only had it a month or so. (join date)

last nite was first nite really below freezing, prolly 28 or 30 or so.

the screen was blank for about 20 minutes, even after truck was warmed up.

the touch screen part was working, because it did stuff,

just did not show anything.

finally got tired of being worried about it being broke, so i shut truck off at traffic light, opened door (to defeat Delayed Accessory Power) and then re-cranked truck,

and the screen came on normal

??

Yeah, it happens. Sometimes the backlight won't kick on in the cold. Once everything's warmed up sufficiently, if it hasn't come on by itself, shut it off and back on and it should be fine.

I actually installed a switch on the D3's ACC wire so I could switch it on and off without having to shut off the car. I did it for other reasons, but it helps with this as well.
