just installed a avic-d3 and when i accelerate hard it gets so staticy that it almost cuts right out
car is an 2004 WRX
any ideas?

Static and not a whining noise, right? Does it happen in ALL sources? If it does, I'm thinking you may have a loose connection or short somewhere, that moves under acceleration. Double check all your wires/splices.

yeah it happens in all sources and i soldered all my connections but i am kinda thinking it might be the vehicle harness...
