Does anyone have any ideas as to what Pioneer might release this time around ? I'm personally hoping for a Z2 type unit with a direct ipod connection. I've held off on jumping into the newer avic line for fear of the dreaded slow ipod interface on everything except for the D3.

I just had my z2 installed and I also heard that the iPod connection would be slow. It really isn't that bad at all. It isn't as fast as using the iPod itself but what do you expect.

The IPOD on the connection on the Z2 is very slow to the other units with direct connect. Its the one and only reason that I've actually thought about giving my Z2 up over.
