Ok guys, I know this has already been posted, but I read all those and it confused me. I don't know which one is the latest info or what not.

I've read on some thread that you have to rewire the system for updates and bipasses and I don't know how to do that. I'm having a technician installt his for me.

My system should be here tomorrow and I would like to know this in advance, because I will be using it immediately.

Anyhow, I've clicked on the Pioneer site in the front page to see if theres an update, but link was broken for me.

Is there the update a software I can just download, or do I need a CD from them? Is there a direct link, or if anyone have the file they can share?

Bipass while driving operations.

Do I HAVE to rewire stuff? Or is there a CD I can just pop in and it does that automatically? If theres a CD, got the link to it?

oh and by the way. I'm getting the Z2.

Read the stickies. You'll AT LEAST need to do the 2-wire bypass, might need the CD update, might further need the firmware update if you have an issue with freezing.

Darn, I was hoping to not have to do some rewiring. I'll let the technician know that and about this site. Thanks and I'll read the sticky again.

Its not re-wiring if it hasn't been done at all yet. Its actually easier for him to wire it for the bypass then it is for him to wire it as Pioneer intended
