I would go for the 4000. I really like the motorised display.

4000 NEX - iPhone 6 - 8.0.2 works great.

It's OK Fotomkr. I STILL have some residual anger over Pioneer's handling of the Car Play fiasco......lol. Go ahead and vent....they still deserve it.....lol.

I've been looking to do the same.

Just for the note, when using an iPhone, it looks less cluttered, as it only shows the menu and phone options.

Spotify works sometimes, sometimes it does not.

When you press the volume up & down buttons, on the right, it seems to be a button for audio alerts, don't know for sure, but I think it might help.

Same for me, including Spotify. Rebooted the iPhone, now it is working fine.

Make sure you are connecting the USB on the port 1. Otherwise it won't work.

AVH-4000NEX is a 8000 without navigation & capacitative touchscreen. Or a 7000 without nav.

AVH-4000NEX recommended over AppRadio.

I have a AVH-X 8500 BHS and I cannot get to the Bluetooth settings they are greyed out and I just got a galaxy s5 so I want my Bluetooth to connect. I cant remember how we did it on the galaxy s4.....HELP

Add a switch to the parking brake grounding. Turn switch on and off and see what happens.

I had a similar issue.

Radio <--> green cable <--> switch <--> ground.

Try disconnecting the RGB/HDMI cable.

What are you referring to, switch what on? are you talking about the parking brake?

Yes, parking brake applied, or "on" for those who use a switch as a bypass.

I have bypass installed, guess that explains parking brake issue.

Even if it is bypassed, you should switch it to on. This also applies for some other settings, including bluetooth and touchscreen calibration.

I am kind of confused here, they are drag and drop. I just put my finger on it and drag it where i want it.

Hi everyone.

I've been having troubles rearranging the source icons or the source menu. The manual says that I have to press and drag the icon, but nothing happens. Also, when trying to rearrange the list, pressing the arrange button, nothing happens, it looks like the button is disabled. 

Have this happened to you before?
