  1. Reading the threads on this it apears that my flex cable may be bad. Everything works but the screen is blank. I have done the solder bypass on the n2 so I am wondering if I will have issues from Pioneer if I send it in for the free repair. Is there anything else that it could be, is it possible to replace this cable yourself? Thanks

  2. Wouldn't it be easier just to pull the radio fuse?

Maybe it's just my car, but the switched red wire has its own fuse separate from the memory wire.

I think it would be easier to just flip a switch than digging for a fuse.

  3. Well that sucks...

I have to run back and forth with 20 songs until I get my entire 1000 songs over to the Z2?

(It's coming by the end of the week)

    That is seriously gay.

Then after you get it loaded your hard drive craps out

  4. Dont feel like the lone ranger. I am confused also. I have put 2 cd's in so far and they are in 2 different folders ( took me a minute to figure out where the second one went, lol) both were homebrews so I had to enter the info manually. I have yet to burn a factory cd. Sure wish someone with patience would make a how to for dummies with screen shots.

  5. I got my Z2 from crutchfield, it came with the radio, blue tooth adapter, ipod interface, camera, disassembly and reassembly instructions, all wiring harnesses and adapters, install instructions etc for $1399 and was here in 2 days. Everything i needed was in the box except the resistor mod and the xm box. Instructions were very easy. Just do the wiring harness inside in the air conditioning before you go out to the car. Take your time and read the book and posts it is not hard at all and sure beats paying bb 300-400 to do it.

Well they went up 100 from when I got mine 2 weeks ago

  6. What is the most effective way to store songs into the Z2? It says something about a limit of 400? Is that individual songs or catagories? Just looking for the best way to store music. Thanks

  7. Yea, I have gone the crutchfield route many times I just had my worries as to whether this was gonna work with the shaker sub and amps in the doors. Looks like it will. Guess I will take the plunge since I cant seem to find anyone who has actually done this to thier vehicle. Thanks
