Hate to say it because this is not a solution for most of us, but I've decided to give android a shot. After rooting my new Xperia Z2 I've thrown Appradio Unchained onto it and... dear god it's so good. If AppExt gets there it will be spectacular but I just couldn't wait anymore and my 4s was already a bit dated.

Still working on mirroring. No touch input yet.

 

I have a mirroring concept working but it requires the parking brake bypass. Trying to get around that.

How about not getting around that and in fact just not worrying about it at all?

Personally I'm perfectly happy to buy/install a bypass if in return I get operational AppEx

aah, nevermind, I got it... so simple... I'm so stupid...

Activator -> Anywhere (will work on Lock screen only anyway) -> Power -> Connected -> Unlock + launch AppRadio

Why would da110 firmware work on a 210? That question doesn't even make sense considering that it's different hardware.

European da110 firmware will work on a us da110, not the 210.

Can't tell you if it will brick it or not but you can expect the dvd to be gone, and me personally, I sure as hell wouldn't try it.

If you need a dvd player buy one of the AVH models, they have the appradio mode too.

AppRadio Extensions has nothing to do with your radio freq.

4s is ahead of the s2, as Tone987 said, it's an old phone with an outdated system. The only benefit would be ARLiberator, but personally that wouldn't be enough for me.

I'm sure it's going to be really attractively priced...

Have you noticed how limited it is, knowing Apple and considering the potential disastrous consequences of distracting a driver behind the wheel I don't expect them to increase the interactivity by adding more apps. Hopefully I'm wrong. Definitely not buying a new car to get it though, perfectly happy with my AppRadio.

AppRadio 3 has been available in the UK for many months now (October 2013 was the release I believe)

Yeah but in the latest version of Turkey there is no license folder for the pioneer appradio, how are we supposed to get it if its not downloaded by the app?

Just a heads up, it didn't work. Might have been working a few versions back, but the license doesn't pass the server validation. It downloads, shows up as green, then switches back never activating on the headunit.

Don't flash the da110 firmware, at the very least you'll loose the cd player, at worst the whole thing will get bricked.

It's been confirmed that the US to EU flash works on the da110, I would never risk it across completely different models.

I just went to the car to check whether something extra will appear when connected to the AppRadio and it doesn't.

Turkey runs without a problem, my Europe iGO shows the standard screen asking me to buy the add on.

Now I've checked the folders on my phone and the content folder of Turkey is empty :/

I've got the latest versions, perhaps that's the issue?

Can you specify what we're looking for?

personally I'm in the habit of backing up all versions, just in case something goes funky

Unfortunately it didn't work out of the box with the 4s. 

I have however jailbroken it and with the DisplayOut Cydia tweak it does indeed work, but it's really quirky.

I guess it's better than nothing for the time being.

thanks vblue42, do you mean mirroring? Wouldn't I need something like DisplayOut on a jailbroken iphone?

Even without control it'd be an improvement for the time until AppEx is released.

Hey guys, sorry for archaeology-like revival of this, but I'm having the same issue.

I was under the impression that I could use Google Maps on the radio, and it doesn't seem to be the case.

Is there a way on a stock unit, or do I have to wait for the AppRadio Extensions?
