I have the exact same problem with a GMOS-04 in my 07 H3, It is driving me CRAZY.
I have a email in to Tech Support at Metra, I'll let you know when they respond!

Fixed It!!!
I Forgot to Cut that Stupid Brown Loop Wire!!!!
-
I just completed an install in a 07 H3 Hummer,
Gmos-04, W/ Parking Break Bypass.
Everything works fine but when I hit the onstar button the AVIC F-90 does a soft reset?
Since I used the MUTE wire for the bypass, is this the problem?
I also have everything grounded to the main ground in the GMOS-04
Could that be the problem?
-
You plug it in the only hole it will fit in,
It is marked "WIRED REMOTE" on the back of the D3
-
I installed a Boyo License Plate Cam this weekend and I was highly impressed with it.
I've seen the Pioneer and the Sanyo in other set ups with a D3 and honestly the BOYO has them all beat!!!
-
I too have this Camera and love it.
Only Complaint was that the Wire was too short for my Saturn Outlook.
Just had to go to Radio Shack and Improvise!!!!!
Great Cam, good in Low Light,
BOYO is Good Stuff

Don't pay them $150 for anything!
You do not want to diable the speed sensor, that would screw up your nav timing.
My advice, pull the unit out yourself, look on this forum for the easy guide to the bypass, and fix the problem yourself.
My Opinion

Ahh if only I had used that harness!!
But instead I used the metra one
http://documents.victorytechnologies.co ... LAN-01.pdf
I really wished I had found that peripheral one first. seems that it is much better, just the fact that it retains the turn signals is nice!
Now what about this:
I have the Metra Harness GMOS-Lan 01
but I bought the Peripheral Steering wheel control adapter,
will they work together?
So you know I have a Saturn outlook 2007 no Bose, and a Avic D3
-
Does the GMOS LAN 01 have a Steering Wheel Control SWC wire?
-
I moved my unit to a new car and the Metal sheet that came with it to mount the Nav Ant. was lost. Sticky magnets suck and I can't find anything like it anywhere.
Does anyone have an extra they would be willing to sell?
I'll kick out $10 via pay pal (That includes the shipping)
Come on someone is bound to have one laying around somewhere?
-
Yeah I doubted it but you never know.
I guess it's physically possible
just takes a lot more know how than I have
Oh well I guess when they merge it won't matter anyway!!!
-
Is this at all possible?
XM came installed in my car from the factory I have a AVIC D3 and I listen to sirius. But could I connect XM to my unit some how.
This will all be of no concern if they merge but in the mean time if it's not hard I might do it.
I have XM free for a year.

Alright this has been way too stressful.
Since there is very little info about installing an AVIC-D3 into a 2007 Saturn Outlook Let me give some advice for anyone who might come along looking like I did.
Kit: 95-3305 or 95-3302 Either will work
Crutchfield lists neither as being correct
Ant Adapter 40CR10 is what you want
Crutchfield sent me a 40CR20
Harness: GMOS-Lan 01 for those with out factory AMP
Gmos-Lan 02 for those with a factory amp.
The GMOS-Lan 01 loses the TURN SIGNALS all together but you can buy a relay so I'll let you know how that works.
There is very little room behind the deck, I cut about a good chunk of un-needed Plastic to give the fan some breathing room, (I have a long drive this weekend so I'll see if she stays cool.
The kit looks decent for not being an exact fit. It took a dremel tool and about 20 minutes to get it right. there are some small gaps but nothing you can't live with, at least until a True Kit is made.
Though it looks like it won't fit, you can get all of the wires behind the ac controls. I did this at night and got tired so I still need to find a place to shove the Sirius box (for not it resides in the glove box)
All works great, bypass was easy.
I'll try and post a pic once I can take some in the day light.

I took my D3 out of my 2004 Envoy and now am about to put it in a 2007 Saturn Outlook.
My Outlook does not have the center dash speaker, or bose.
Had a hard time finding a dash kit, Metra 95-3305 Will do the trick
Crutchfield Claims I need a GMOS Lan-02
Local Shop Claims I need a GMOS Lan-01
Questions is what is the difference?
Will either on work?
What does it mean when on Metra's page it says that the 02 has navigational hook ups?
Any help would be much appreciated.
I plan to do the install tomorrow
Crackling coming from the speakers.
