  1. iHeartRadio has released an update to its iPhone app that adds support for Apple's CarPlay, allowing owners to use the app while they are driving with a car equipped with the company's connected car system.

The iHeartRadio app allows users to access thousands of radio stations in the US via Internet streaming so having the app now support CarPlay will be a huge feature for commuters who don't want to listen to the same local radio stations time and time again.

In addition to the CarPlay support, the new iHeartRadio app update adds some "OS 8 compatibility tweaks" along with a Today View widget which allows users to quickly access their most recently listen to radio stations from the iOS 8 Notification Center. Will you be using this app in your CarPlay store?

  2. I have and on my brief use this morning, I did notice it took several attempts to make the shuffle play option stick for playing music. I would select it and after a couple of seconds it would grey back out.

Also I did have a message about the phone not auto connecting after I stopped to get gas, but I clicked try again (or whatever it said) and it seemed to connect fine.

  3. Where do I find this on my Nex 4000 ?

    It says its included/built in.

Partnering with Clear Channel Broadcasting Inc, the built-in traffic tuner provides real-time traffic data for over 90 major cities in North America, including Canada. Check your commute route in advance or re-route to your destination to avoid traffic congestion. There is no subscription cost and no annoying on-screen advertisements. With our traffic tuner, now you are ready to navigate stress-free!

  4. I have a nex 4000, connected to an iPhone 5s via USB.

Pandora and aha installed on the phone, in the smartphone setup it shows Pandora are aha are useable via its connection, but when I look at it in the AV menu, they are greyed out.

It does work via HDMI/USB or BT, but I believe it should work via just the USB ?
