So I've had my 4000NEX installed for about 5 months now and I usually listen to music or watch videos from a 32GB SD card (bypassed). I noticed that, occasionally, it takes a little bit longer for it to read the card and start playing when I turn my car on. Sometimes it won't read it at all and I have to remove the card and put it back in for it to start reading. Finally a month ago it won't read the card at all. The SD logo is greyed out and I'm not even able to select it.
Any idea what could cause this to happen? Some sort of circuit maybe finally bit the dust? Some sort of firmware issue? Should I call Pioneer? Please let me know if I can provide more details that would be helpful.
Not sure if this is relevant, but I've also noticed that when I turn my car on the unit turns on immediately and other times it will take longer to boot up - Issue with power wiring?
