yea the unit was working in the before the upgrade. everything works except the POI and phone number search.

i bought an upgrade disc off ebay and it seems as the upgrade worked new map of the east coast but for some reason i can use the poi nor the phone options their just grayed out? i have the 90 conected to a avh7500. i am able to use the map on the screen and able to get it to route. so i dont think that i need something other than grounding out the green wire. sorry for such a long thread for my first post
