Possible to erase all my music on my

Unlocked hdd without losing all my settings

wondering if the 30 pin iphone a2dp bluetooth adapters "$15" will stream music with a cd-ib100II ipod interface? or should i waste the $ on a bt200? thanks

never mind, i guess it means i just set my hdd to not accept lock commands and now its fully unlocked.... i can see it fully under windows :cheers:

had my avic z2 on the bench and it would unlock with the test disc with out errors, now im getting "it was refused to request hdd mode change"

when trying to unlock? help?

after install and using the test disc , out of the blue im getting a error "it was refused to request hdd mode change" when unlocking.. anyone seen this before? it worked fine when i had the avic on the bench before install 

wish i could help, i am able to see my unlocked drive but have not flashed yet, you use the test disc in the unit itself to unlock the drive before you remove it btw, you know this correct? then connect to a pc

like atunguyd said, theres a option under setting to modify current location, hit ok, then it will pop up two arrows on the screen to change directions of the arrow in 360 degs 

question,. if you do not pre unlock a new/used non oem hard drive and insert it into the avic, will the unlock method still work? or is the drive toast after? 

meaning you would need to unlock the spare drive before? then clone , then add maps? i have a few older locked drives now, i tried disk ti disk clone... etc

For people wondering the straight ipbus cable will not work alone on the z series decks without the cdib100 adapters

i'm still learning myself, i downloaded the new 2012 map image and flashed it to a spare hdd but all i get is "hdd not compatible"  i tried unlocking my oem hdd and flashing it to a spare after imaging with acronis also and get the same msg, maybe a pro will chime in, or ill figure it out sooner or later 

 i'm awaiting on a couple of 2.5 to 3.5 hdd ide adapters so i can use ghost instead of acronis drive to drive clone

did the cd1200ii work with the z? 

About to flash my z2 to the z3 update. I was going to buy the iPod interface box. Do I need the box for full control or will just the $12 eBay cables work the same? Thanks.
