I would be lost without him he has the patience of a saint   I'm still not there yet my Lang and voices are not working for me but I did these on my imac,  my daughter will be back from college at the weekend so I'll have another go with her laptop.

Ok I got my Irish maps in but my settings are still in french do I change this on my flash disc or on the avic.

Ok that seems to work, I had to do it on a PC as my Imac was blocking some files. I just have to update the maps and I should be sorted. Thanks again guizmo.

Should I open the APL and APL2 on the right side and then copy each file over to my flash drive.

Ok I opened "My flash disk" on the left side and the files APL and APL2 came up so I copied them over to my flash disk after dealing everything else.

I'm still having problems  this is my flash drive and igo folder am I missing something here. I'm not great with computers and this is melting my brain  plus my calibration is off making things very tricky.  

Ok after another day in the car   I'm nearly there and it's looking good.

But after a few min's the system startup came on and it went back to the blue screen switching on and off between the two  I thought this was just updating so I left it for an hour and a half and still no change, I had to turn off the car then as I was getting low on fuel  should I leave it run longer tomorrow or is this a problem. Thanks again hopefully I can leave you alone soon.

Ok I think I have the first part done  

My next SD card is looking like this "I think thats right" I'll try it tomorrow and fingers crossed it will work. Thanks again for your help guizmo I owe you a pint.

Thanks for your help guizmo, Do I have to back up anything before I start just incase I make a mess of things or will I just go for it,  my sd card now looks like this is that ok  "LPUEO8032"

Or should the sd card look like this, you will have to forgive my ignorance I'm at a loss when it comes to computers

Hi guys new here and to everything to do with updating maps    I have the f900bt that has only had the bluetooth update and none of the CNSD cards updates, the map version is 2.009000 do you think the links above will work or do I have to buy the cnsd card first. Thanks for any help.
