I bought my Avic-d3 from crutchfield and it came with a free BOYO VTL400 camera with a CCD sensor not crappy CMOS.

If you're going to use the camera for rear view, you need the camera to be REVERSE IMAGE if not is not worth it. and please buy CCD sensor cameras not CMOS.

Try using the ipod to select what folder and movie you want to see. Wait for it to start playing, then unplug and replug it in

Done that already, I noticed that changing sources on the D3 is the same effect as disconecting the cable. if you see the video it only works on the MUSIC VIDEO folder, but with the 1.0.3 update to the ipod I just did it doesn't work at all.

Don't you have to unplug an plug back in the ipod cable each time you start playing videos with the new ipods?? At least that's what I remember reading in the 10 or 15 topics about it on this site.

Yes but it only works with the MUSIC VIDEO folder, you cannot access the MOVIE, PODCAST folders.

PS: I just updated the Ipod to version 1.0.3 and FORGET IT now doesn't play any video at all, plus it bricks while hearing music. Thank God today is the 12th day after buying this Ipod, tomorrow I will be returning it.

Tell me what I'm doing wrong, I have 49 videos on my Ipod, all of them play perfectly on my TV and play it ONCE on my D3, after turning off the car and turn it back on again now it only plays MUSIC VIDEOS folder. I have tried everything

I have the new Ipod classic 80Gb with TV OUT enabled, to make it work you have to go to VIDEO on the D3 and then press play on the ipod, then hit SOURCE on the D3 to switch to another source and then again to the IPOD screen and it will play the videos, BUTTT today I was testing it.

I press VIDEO on the Ipod screen on the D3, the on the ipod I searched for recently uploaded videos 48 videos in total. then I press play on the ipod. on the D3 I switched sources to refresh the IPOD screen and I was able to see alll the videos. As soon I turn it the car off and on again now I can only see the MUSIC VIDEO folder videos and not the movies or anything else.

Anyone had this problem?

Yeap a Mazda CX-7 I just got the radio yesterday, but I had one before but I sold it because the Double din kit was unavaible. Now they came with it and I had to buy it again.

Mine is installed under the dash in top of the radio and I get good reception. All depends n your windshield if it's radio frequency protected or not.
