Ok, after going through all the settings and then calling Pioneer Support - turns out it is an issue with my install.  Saying Front inputs are not wired properly....  

Is the Alerts Volume adjustment only in CarPlay?   I hit my volume control while playing a DVD and in the NEX Nav system and do not see an Alerts Popup....

Nevermind...  found it...

Tested again this morning, to enure private mode was off. When I turn private mode on I can hear the call on the phone, when I trurn it off I hear nothing from the radio.

Also tested nav this morning and no sound coming from route guidance.  Could this all be an "Alerts" volume issue?

Just to add, I can listen to voicemails recorded on the phone just fine and while using Carplay and try to access Siri, do not hear her voice, but see her working on the screen.

Assistance needed.  

I have a new 7000NEX installed in my Wrangler.   Everything works great, even steering wheel controls - all except phone call audio issues.   My iPhone is connected via Bluetooth, and I can see my address book, dial #'s and the person on the other end of the line can hear me (mic is working), but I cannot hear them.  I cannot hear the # dial, phone ringing, or person speaking on the other end. But again, they can hear me fine......  Ugh!

Is there some setting in the headunit I am missing?
