what was the solution to this problem? Im having the same exact problem.

Anyone having issues with the AVIC not reconnecting with the phone? I have a LG ENVY2 and can pair the phones, but if its disconnected at any time, it wont reconnect. i have to delete it and re-pair the two together. Thanks in advance.

Yeah,,, that hack is pretty simple. Its all the script and so forth being modified thats messing with me.

This is my 2nd Pioneer. I have a D2 in my trailblazer and i bought a F700BT for another. I was excited about some of the mods i been reading but it looks like im SOL. I understand computers and files, IMO enough to do this but im completely confused to whats going on with all these hacks. I just dont get it. My question is, does the F700BT function pretty good right out of the box? Thanks in advance.

sooo.. i wonder if the unit is affected if the Red wire is connected while being connected to a pioneer with ip bus. Because i bought my tuner used and activated it. The Nav traffic worked for a few hours and now it doesnt. it just keeps saying "updating"

sure is. I actually just hooked one up to my D2 last night and i love it.

Perfect. Updated and went right on. everything works and it Loads quicker too.

well.. now that i feel like a complete idiot! lol it would be nice if they supplied screws that worked for the mounting. Guess im going to buy longer screws tomorrow. The flat-head screws supplied with the D2 are too short and the screws supplied with the kit are course thread.

that pretty much looks like the same thing i have. I had to cut the middle piece out of mine but the D2 is way to big.

Maybe im just retarded but... can someone tell me what kit i need to install my D2 in a 04 Trailblazer? I ordered a DD kit made by american international part number GM-K422 and its definately not the right kit!

ok.. i made a background, burned it on a SL disk with just the BG pic on it, reset it,, my pic showed up but as soon as i put the original nav disk in, it reset itself and loaded the pioneer one. Do i have to pretty much burn a back-up disk with the edited BG pic and use it all the time?

Is there any hacks for a OEM system that anyone knows of such as changing the background pic or getting rid of the WARNING message at start up? Thanks in advance!

I went through all of the "D" series posts and couldnt find an answer and method. Can one DL nav disk be made from both disk so im not swapping disk? If so, can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks
