When i first purchased my pioneer avh-x1600 dvd all the websites said iphone 5 cable for app radio mode was on the way. It seems like that is never happening. I have tried everything to try to mirror iphone onto tv screen or get some sort of naigation system on the double din. I purchased rgb to vga along with the vga adapter and get a usb not compatible message. I have tried tweaks and mods from the jailbreak community. I get no usage from my iphone 5 just music being played. There seems to be no updates for the headunit.
Is it possible in any way shape or form to mirror my iphone 5 onto my screen? I have an iphone 5 jailbroken. If theres no way, how do i go about mirroring an iphone 4 onto the screen? will it need to be activated in order to use gps app. My ultimate goal is to get an iphone mirrored to my screen in order to have gps any video or other apps would be extras.
