I wish they could show your speed and the track playing on Spotify since it does that on the iPhone already.

You have to update the Google Maps app to the latest version as well.

Halleluja.  The next WAZE update will allow us to use Waze on Carplay with iOs 12.  Google Maps is working now.

anyone know what firmware was out for the 8100nex before the 1.09 ?

 

ever scince i updated when calling somone they can hear themselves echo verry bad.   all i can think of is the bluetooth update i did .

 

 

i also tried a spare mic i had   to rule that out.  as well as different phone.

 

would like to know if there's a way to rollback the bluetooth update..   ?

 

also is there no settings for bluetooth  echo canceling and noise reduction  on these units , as i cant find them anywhere ?

1.05 was the last one but I don't think you can downgrade.

I use the USB1 with my phone and it works great. Try that.

My unit is saying that I can only have the upgrade file on the SD card but the instructions and everything I've found online make it seem like you should copy the unzipped folder to the card. Does anyone know which file works for the upgrade or have you been successful with the whole folder? Thanks!

Unzip and copy the AVICxxxx folder to your USB drive or SD Card.

I am using Spotify with my iPhone 6 via CarPlay.

I think it might be my crappy stock antenna. I have a 2006 Eclipse and the antenna is built into the rear windshield. Going to try to add an aftermarket antenna and see if that helps. I live right outside NYC and all the stations send artwork. Thanks.

I finally got my 8100NEX installed and was very upset when I put the FM HD Radio on and the album art does not show up. I tried several different stations and it is not working. Is there any way to enable this? What am I missing?
