I have a pioneer f970DAB which i thought was igo8 with here maps, but looking at images online, im not so sure.

On the pioneer deck, ive gone to about but it just says navigation software with a version number 9.18.28.610130, it doesnt say what type of map or system is running it.

Im looking at getting Euro Q4 maps, but i just dont want to download the wrong ones and mess my unit up.

If i use the initial hack and copy everything to a USB stick will this actually change anything on my head unit?

I have a fully licensed copy at the moment and want to add speed cameras to it. Am i able just to add these to my licensed copy?

I have just purchased the pioneer F970DAB which i believe is the NEX5100

I have the latest maps which came as a free upgrade. I've turned on speed cameras but have driven past about 10 and it hasn't shown an icon or played a noise

Im guessing althought its allowed me to turn them on, they must not be installed as standard?

Ive looked at modding it so i can re-install the latest map but then add speed cameras.

I want the traffic updates but i have to pay £24.99 to recieve this through the avic sync app. Is there anyway of receiving free traffic updates so they are displayed on my routes?

any help to get speed cameras working or modding would be great, Thanks
