  1. Instructions:

     

    Step 1: Format an 8gb SD card to FAT32. Google it.

    Step 2: Download the file, and extract using winrar.

    Step 3: Transfer the files you extracted to the SD card.

    Step 4: Turn your car on, and insert the SD card into your AVIC head unit.

    Step 5: DO NOT TURN YOUR CAR OFF, until the update is complete.

    Step 6: The update will take approximately 45 minutes.

    Step 7: Once update is complete, paypal a donation.

  2. Hi everyone.. I just joined after searching for a long time on fixes for this 850. Wife and I bought a SUV with a 850 installed. The maps are out of date and the tracking of the GPS are WAY off. I am no computer expert so if someone can help please do so... I see the thread starter has a download for maps but I am not sure how to do this... Thanks.

  4. Hi all I just purchased a Toyota Fj Cruiser that has a AVIC-x850BT installed. This vehicle has not been used much and the maps are not just out of date they are way off.... Heck on roads that have been here for ages this thing says I am driving in space... Someone please help!!! I need new maps and stuff. I did the free firmware update from the Pioneer site...
