On the left i am holding the adapter and on the right (gray connector) is the one that is plugged into your uConnect Module. You have to unplug it from the uConnect module and then plug the black adapter into the gray connector and then your USB cable will go from the black adapter to the Radio Head Unit.(#1 slot for CarPlay and #2 spot for normal USB modes)
Here is how i have mine tucked away and connected. It works like it should and has a solid connection. it is tucked in a way that it will not rattle or move around and cause it to disconnect.
