  1. and maybe you should read the topic again..."F-SERIES BLUETOOTH".not Z. your methods might not work. plus they didnt for me and i have a z3.

Really?!? I guess you know then how long the Bluetooth echo haunted us and these solutions fixed 90% of the problems for us Z owners. Since the f-series are made by the SAME company, the SAME solutions might work...that's just my thought.

I have an F90BT sitting in a box at the house that will be replacing my Z2 but i'm not switching them out until these problems get solved.

  2. Did you guys totally skip over my post on page 3? Maybe you should try this stuff...

I have a Z2 and it was notorious for mic problems. Afew things that helped up in the Z-series forums were:

    1) when pairing the phone, make sure the volume is turned less than 1/2 way on the phone

    2) set your output to come from the left side only

    3) dont turn the output for the voice very high, it can ricochet off the other door and into the mic, causing an echo for the caller on the other end.

Try these things and if they dont work, dig around the Z-series forums. Alot of things were tried and there's plenty of info there.

  4. Online dealers aren't authorized to carry Premier by Pioneer.

Where did you hear that from? I've never heard that before and can't find anything supporting that on the Pioneer website. I'd really like to know. If that's the case, then I can stop spending time searching the internet for an F90BT from an authorized internet dealer.

    Thanks.

When I called Crutchfield to check status of it, they told me the same statement.

  5. Same here. Another thing I forgot to mention is that you can also now dial those POI that you find in the search if your bluetooth is sync'd up like the Z series does. Little button appears at the bottom of the screen to dial

I just discovered that feature like 3 months ago on my Z2 and it is so helpful!! Good to know it's still there.

  6. Keep in mind if you have a question as to if they are authorized, just go to pioneer's website or call them.

z06, those prices you got arent too shabby. I suspect with everyone getting them in within the next couple of weeks, there's gonna be some competitive pricing.

  7. I will say this, when I first called I talked to the manager (without knowing) and he's the one that priced it to me at $950. When I went that same day to make my deposit, the salesman said, "That was the manager you talked to earlier, he gave you a heck of a deal. We're gonna be marking these up at least $100 more than this!"

If you do call, just ask how much they will sale one to you for and if they would mind shipping it, don't say, "hey, I heard you were selling F90BT's for $950."

    Thanks!

    Here's the info...

    Car Stereo Warehouse

  8. Based on what crutchfield told me, if you buy a Premier unit from an internet company you won't have a warranty. Thats the reason they dont sell them, and if you ask me, they would be the first ones to be if they could.

Also, I put my deposit down on mine last week at an authorized Premier dealer and I paid less than $999...

    :D

Are you going to tell us where you will be getting yours? :?

I'd rather not because i'd say pioneer watches this site and I dont want the place where i got mine to get in trouble for selling it below what they should be.
