  1. i bet you'd like to know how i measured it huh. i guess you'll never know. anyways, you're obviously the one who works at mcdonalds or equivilent pay because your cheap ass buy a used nav unit!

and oh yes, i really work at mcdonald's when i serve this country year in and year out just so stupid FUCKS like yourself can be regular stupid idiots in our country.

i wish you you'll be the next person i fire my M16 at or my M9.

by the way, go measure the voltage yourself and get a life. and realisitically don't cover up that you work at mcdonalds's when you claim others do. stupid lame people in his forum like yourself ruin it for people who just don't know how to do this kind of stuff cuz they got important things to do other than be on the internet all day long!

  2. more brillance on your side because its obvious that nobody here in this forum is willing to help your stupid ass! get off your stupid ass and find out the output voltage for yourself.

if your weren't such a jobless fuck, i would of told you what i found out 6 months ago cuz i have measured the output voltage!

and i will state again, it doesn't matter what voltage it has cuz if you really cared about sound quality then you'll get a line driver or just do what most people do and turm the gain up to 1/2 to 5/8.

  3. i go on alot of long trips and i am always having to reset my nav unit. it gets frozen at times and doesn't do anything. it always reverts back to when i was at dodgers stadium. i could be driving thru fresno california and all of a sudden the map will show me how to get back to dodgers stadium. its like it wants me to go there again, and even if it did, it couldn't cuz its frozen (navi only). however, driving on the way down to south cali, it won't freeze but on the way up, it'll freeze up a few times and its getting frustrating. when i do this, i have to reset all my settings and etc but isn't such a big deal cuz i still got my addresses and cell phone connections.

will getting the upgrade disc help? the thing that also pisses me off is i have a home thats already 5 years old and it can't come up on my navi. it shows my side streets but not my house. hopefully the new version has my adddress loaded.

upgrade or not to upgrade? anybody else having the navi freeze up on them alot? what to do?

  4. since these are ISO's i'm assuming i'm going to burn them as if i'm going to actually burn a DVD movie? i normally use convertxtodvd3 and all i got to do is drag over and it'll do the rest for me!!!!

so alcohol120 is what everybody else is using? are they burning as a data dvd or what?

  5. ok i am trying to boot in testmode and when i do it says copying files is in progressive and has less than one minute left. after that, the middle of the screen turns green. everything else i touch will turn green besides the start button.

how can i copy date.zip to my sd card from there?

  6. ok i played around tody and removed the panel in the mustang. the wire did come out when the guy at the stereo place did it. he also grounded all the wire to a loose ground on the floor. i grounded all these using the black wire from the radio harness.

however the guy before me (local stereo shop) tried to super glue it and didn't go all the way in. now i can't even get it to go all the way in at all, no matter what i do.

i pulled out my cover on my king ranch f150 and that mute wired also came out on mine but the bypass still works.

is there something i could try to force that thing in that pin? it just won't go all the way in.

i guess if i can't get it to work, i'll just attempt the software bypass.

  7. thanks for the info! however i'm not sure how to boot it up into test mode and how to load it into my sd card! other than that, i will figure out how to do it on my computer. loading the new firmware onto the deck again is pretty easy cuz it will read automatically.

could you help a friend out?

  8. i'm an older user in the d3 forum but now i got the 90bt in the wife's mustang gt. i did my research first before posting so don't kill me.

i did the mod like in the other threads. i relocated the mute wire like illustated and ground the green wire. however it still doesn't work.

i also kept on looking for the software bypass but i can't seem to locate it. could you guys help me out? it seems as if the software bypass would be easier but i can't even find it on the net. on my wife's mustang its a hassel to get that panel off to do the wire bypass.

is the 90bt different to bypass them.

    any help would be great!!!!

  9. my wife and i (mainly wife's car) have just a plain jane gt mustang. can you guys give me more info because i'm not all that great on brand newish motors. i'm mostly a old school carb and dizzy car guy. the ecm i'm thinking is a electrical computer module and i'm not exactly sure where thats at. could you guys provide pictures?

is there a grommet in the mustang to put that wire thru? on my f150 there are several nice grommets all over to run wires thru. i hope this mustang does too.

is this wire hard to get to?!?!?!

  10. yup i finally wired up the vss and it was not reading the mph however it didn't work quite right! at times she'll give me guidance but she won't lower the music so she' talking over the music and it don't help.

i also had to reset the speed pulse and recalibrate it. i had it all calibrated for my other truck and not this one.

i also brought the antenna from the engine by to the top of the dash board.

  11. i will be putting yet another d3 in my wife's mustang gt and i don't know if the harness is the same as my f150. does anybody know where the vss wire is?

on my f150 it was easy because it was right on my radio harness. i know there haves to be somebody else who has installed it on a mustang!

  12. on mine, my nav wouldn't even work right! and it throws things off. in the owners manual says if you don't hook it up theres soething else you got to buy. its a pain in the ass to find that wire however luckily mine is on my radio harness and thanks to people here, i found which one it is!
