I live on the west sid of Las Vegas and I have XM, my wife has Sirius. When I drive her car the signal drops all the time. I almost never lose signal.

After the contract runs out I am changing her car to XM. Sirius sucks.

New 3G iphone is the same, I still think that it is the mic. I have checked the mic connection and it doesn't seem to be the mic. I say this because it will not work with the voice comand fo the guidance.

find another installer, I have made many calls with On Star and it never shuts off andything, just mutes.

Sorry if I sounded like an A$$, that was not what I ment to do.

I tried un-pairing and re-piaring, but it did not work. Today I tried to use the voice comand and it did not work either, so I think it is the mic. It is not the mic connection because I tried that. I guess my mic just went bad, unless there is a setting I can not find.

I don't think that 2.0 is the issue... I've had the Iphone since day one...and had the Z2 well before... The BT has been the same... if anything, it's gotten better.... But you still have to play with the BT volume while connected, to get the best volume/without echo.... which for me is about a couple clicks above 1/2 volume on the Iphone... I have my Avic's settings all the way up... and just use the Iphone's BT volume(when connected) to moderate the volume/echo....

I guess you misread my post, I do not have an echo. They can not hear me at all. I have tried to adjust the volume leves of both the iphone and the Z3. Like I said before, everything was OK before the upgrade to 2.0. I to have had the iphone since day one, still don't now what that has to do with anything.

I have an iphone, it worked fine untill I upgraded to the new 2.0 software. Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue.

It does the same thing with my wifes iphone. I will check with another phone if I can get my hands on one.

Just took out the headset and unpluged the mic and pluged it beack in, and nothing.

Anyone have any ideas.

Will do. I just hate to because there is no easy way to get behind it without taking it out.

Untill yesterday my bluetooth worked just fine, and now I can hear people but they can not hear me. Is it possible that the microphone has lost it's connection, or is it a more serious issue.

I have seen these posted on the Smart Car fourm, but I had not heard of anyone using them. Let me know how it goes when you get yours installed. As it will be some time before I get my Four-Two. I just reserved one today.

I love my Hummer, but I only drive about 25 miles total every day, and it is all city driving. So I figured I should get something that gets better gas milage. Because I think gas is going to hit the $7+ per gal. mark in the us.

I currently have a Hummer and a Avic Z2 upgraded to the Z3. I am selling my Hummer and getting a Smart car. My question is, can I find a mounting bracket for the Smart car? The smart has benn out for a long time in the UK. I would like the F series, the 90 to be exact.

i cant wait til we get it in my store (i work @ bestbuy) being i work in the car audio department. Ill be like a kid in a candy store when I have to put that bad boy on display. maybe ill mark down the display of the avic-d3 and buy it lol.

I'm sick of everybody bashing Pioneer when they don't even know how it works / that there's already a system in place for this sort of thing. Maybe if you looked into it 2 years ago it's be on the map by now...

Not trying to be a smart A$$, but I did not know 2 years ago that thye did not have my are on the map, for two reasons. One, it was not here two years ago. Two, I did not have the Z2 two years ago.

My wife drives a BMW 650ci, and her map update from BMW that we just bought at the local dealer has our subdivisionon the map. But my Z2 updated with the Z3 image still doesnot have my subdivision. The sub. is about 2 1/2 years old. We live in the Greater Las Vegas Area.

p.s. My mother-in-law drives an Audi A6 and her map update has it as well.

The ND-BC2 is adjustable after you set it up. You can change the viewing angle in many directions. You can change the view to a birds eye and back to normal. There are a few other things a I am forgetting I am sure.

I am thinking of putting one on the front of my Hummer, because my wife complains she can't see to park my car. She says she can't tell how close she is to small cars. I would think this would help.

I turn it to on and wait a few seconds and the unit turns on. Then I turn on the car, and the lights on the unit go off for a couple of seconds, and then come back on.

If I turn the car on too fast, sometimes it doesn't come on at all. Then when I turn the car off it comes on. Then I turn the car back on and it flicks off then on again.

I would think this is an adaptor problem, right?

It is not a connection problem, because the radion never cuts out when I am driving.

Any other ideas.

Mine just says "Traffic", does that mean it is worrking? I live in Vegas, and never really use it. When I press the tab it does nothing. Is it susposed to do something? I can pull up the traffic accidents in Vegas, just not by pressing that tab. Unfortunantly Vegas does nto get traffic flow info, just accidents.

I have encountered a new problem with my Z-2 (upgraded to Z-3). If I turn the car on to fast, meaning not stopping at ACC position for a few seconds, it does not power on. If I turn the car off and back on, it powers on.

Before anyone asks I had this same problem before doing the upgrade, it actually is less noticeable now, but still happens.

Does anyone have any idea why?

Mine says simple hybrid so I guess the VSS wire is not connected. I am missing out on anything important? I guess my question is, will I gain anything by haveing it hooked up?

In my experience it doesn't really matter, but for some, in some areas, it helps to have the VSS connected

If it will not effect anything I will leave it alone.

The guy I bought it from said it is unlocked as well. How cn I tell, and what will it do that the unlocked one did not.
