  1. Looking at finding a steering wheel interface to work with my Avic-z2 into my 2004 Mercedes Benz C230 Sport Sedan.

Found CA-R-PI 131 & 133 but takes three weeks to get to Canada from some guy in Portugal, and costs $300.00.

Found peripheralelectronics has one but cant find a dealer or distribution to Toronto Canada.

Now I found CAN45PIO & CANPULSE4 interface from "Soundgate" and this install shop in T.O can order it.

But I need to know if anybody has ever used it and does it work good? like will my volume, track selector, phone and AV controls work?

    any info would be appreciated,

  2. Looking for a place who is Pioneer Registered and has worked with Mercedes Benz before.

In addition know about the steering wheel controls harness u can get i.e, CA-R-PI 133 or 131, PAC harness and Peripheral Electronics harness for steering wheels. (half the places I go into they dont even know what I am talking about, its dreadfull)

    Thanks,

  3. Hello,

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Hello All,

I am new to this site and just about to purchase the AVIC-Z2 for my 2004 Mercedes Benz C230 Sport sedan.

    Install includes:

    - Avic-z2

    - ND-BT1 bluetooth

    - CD-IB100II NIB Ipod

    - Sirius SIR-PNR2 sate radio

    - ND-BC2 Rear Camera

    Questions:

Does anybody know where I can find a wiring kit for my steering controls to work with the avic-z2? my stock mercedes wheel controls.? I have found through some old forums on here that I would use the CA-R-PI 133 or CA-T-PI 131 thats works wioth Pioneer head units. But I dont know which one?

Any general install tips or help because I have been reading some of the forums and people are talking about your cars " VSS Wire", and the wiring harness? no prior knowledge about nav hookups

I am pretty new with this nav system and any tips would help. In addition I am planning on getting a professional installed but want to make sure I gather all good tips and materials (wire harness, additional parts) before the install.

    Thanks,

    [/b]

  4. Hello,

I am about to buy the Sirius SIR-PNR2 for my Avic-Z2, and I am wondering will I need any other parts (wiring kit, extra parts etc) or is that everything I need?

Because another ad on ebay they have another product which the seller stats "You are bidding on the Sirius Satellite Radio replacement for the SIR-PNR2 package. This new package which replaced the SIR-PNR2 is the SC-C1 tuner and the Pioneer Adaptor CD-SB10".

Anybody have some info on what I need? any advice would help.

    Cheers,
