Pardon me for pointing out the obvious...

Those release dates look to be the release dates for additional videos. If you click the one that says "Change of Plans", it plays a video. So it looks like the others are placeholders for more videos, and the dates are when they will release them.

 

The video is pretty cool, wish there was more though!

Agree with CitizenX on the probable meaning of those dates on the videos.

But as far as the current video they put out there.....not impressed. It's video more of the guy and everything else than the AVIC-F. I understand it's a promotional video, but they should have focused a little more on the unit than the car seats and the guy.

^^Probably not a authorized dealer. I would rather pay a little more and get the factory warranty.

 

I can find out about being an authorized dealer. They are 10 minutes from my office. I will probably shoot over there tomorrow or Thursday.

Online dealers aren't authorized to carry Premier by Pioneer.

Where did you hear that from? I've never heard that before and can't find anything supporting that on the Pioneer website. I'd really like to know. If that's the case, then I can stop spending time searching the internet for an F90BT from an authorized internet dealer.

I called today and asked to speak with the manager. He said that they only deal with local walk-in customers and don't do orders over the phone.

The guy didn't say too much so I'm not for sure, but he sounded like he had an Asian accent. I'm only describing who I talked to to see if it was the same guy you bought from.

Based on what crutchfield told me, if you buy a Premier unit from an internet company you won't have a warranty. Thats the reason they dont sell them, and if you ask me, they would be the first ones to be if they could.

 

Also, I put my deposit down on mine last week at an authorized Premier dealer and I paid less than $999...

Which Premier dealer did you go through? I'm interested in the F90BT also and under $999 is a great price! I checked out sonicelectronix website and they have a good deal too. It's $999 and they will include the installation kits free - wiring and dash kits.
