I used to not use SLA and keep loudness on Low but now I turned it off and jack up SLA all the way.

I'm wondering if they are beneficial and if anyone uses them.

Which is the better cable? Anybody personally use them? How do they compare to the cable provided by Pioneer? All the features are available regardless of cable right? Thanks!

I paid $40 for the kit, $15 for the harness, and $225 for the install/labor. Bypass included of course. However, I did buy my f90bt unit from him so he might have given me a break. If you do buy everything and have him just do the install/labor he might charge you more because you didn't buy it from him. Good luck.

I usually leave VR catalog off as I'm constanting update the music on my 3G 16GB iPhone. One day I decided to turn it on and it wouldn't stop categorizing even after 30mins. I turned it off and hit TTS but it simply paused my music (iPhone). I hit the play button but then it took me to my phonebook transfer settings page. I hit cancel and went back to the iPod page and hit play again. The duration continued but above it displayed the pause logo and there was no audio. Anyone ever run into this problem? Thanks for any help.

I think the problem has to do with the latest iphone update (2.1)

I have searched but haven't found anything similar to my problem. I have a 16gb iphone 3g and the f90bt. Basically the other night when I was navigating around my podcasts the unit restarted and continued to do so as long as the iphone was connected. I could disconnect my iphone and play a cd/fm radio and it works fine but when I plug the iphone back in the unit restarts over and over. This just started happening the other night. I reset the unit but that didn't help. Then I tried restarting the car but same deal. What can I do? Thanks.

I have my bass knob up halfway and either way when I the volume up to 62 it doesn't distort at all in my car.

Hey everyone I wanted to start a thread and have people contribute what their system consists of and how everyone customizes their AV Sound. Please list what kind of F unit you have, amps, subs, speakers or if it's stock. What do you guys preferably keep your EQ on? Do you guys tweak any of the subwoofer settings? etc.

HU: f90bt

Amp: jl 500/1v2, 300/4v2

Speakers: jl c5-650

Sub: 10w7 in HO box

I generally keep my EQ on flat and have the Loudness set on low. Everything else is off (HPF, FAD/BAL, Bass Booster).

I have an F90BT hooked up to a 16GB iPhone 3G. I have some movies and family guy episodes and it lists them properly and when I choose it only audio will play. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

iPhone 3g works beautifully. No problems transferring contacts here.
