  1. Hello. I have an AVIC N3 with the CDIB100II. I was wondering if there was any way to get the Iphone 4 working with the interface, especially for charging it at the very least. When I attach the iphone I get an error that the device is not compatible with my iphone. Is there any work around that anyone knows of?

    Thanks.

  2. You may be right about the ip bus thing, but I have had the N2 N3 and N4 in my cars. The N2 it did show but would not sync. The N3 it sync'ed but kept losing the connection and it was driving me crazy. I couldn't dial a number or see who was calling. I could just pick it up and hang up. The N4, rules. All works well.

Well some of us aren't interested in buying an entirely new system every year just because pioneer can't release a fucking upgrade to allow the previous units to interface with the bluetooth systems.

  3. Hey I have an n3, and I'm looking for recommendations.

First, I'm interested in a parrot bluetooth reciever, since I've given up on pioneer making one specifically for the n3. Can anyone recommend a particular model? Also, can the n3 be set up so when a call is incoming, the radio automatically mutes?

Second, I'm contemplating getting new sound in my car. I have a 05 Jeep Liberty. I'd like new speakers, but I'm not sure which ones are worth the money.

Also, I'm interested in a small sub, but I do not want to lose my trunk space. I was looking at the infinity bass link combo sub/amp. Anyone have any thoughts on it or do you have better suggestions?

Oh and what is this: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v ... 28,00.html

Is it the camera with a mount that will automatically move back and forth?

  4. Wowwww what did you do? What were you trying to do?

And yeah, it looks like you used a high wattage soldering gun and kept it against the circuit board for a long time.

From the looks of it, thats probably the end of your unit. You might be able to sell off the screen but that circuit board might not work again.

  5. Because several people say that their phones won't autoconnect, or that it doesn't always work properly. I want to be able to go in my car, have my phone automatically connect, and I don't want to have to flip the screen out every time I want to answer an incoming call.

I wish I could just demo one of the bluetooth units with my n3 to see how it works.

Still though, theres no reason why they shouldn't have made one specifically for the N3.

  6. I am not 100% sure of the name, but a friend of mine was telling me that it is actually an industry term for navigation systems called "breadcrumbs". Its a feature that shows you where you have been in case you need to back track for whatever reason. Yes, much like Hanzel and Gretel story.

But the white dots on the map really aren't that helpful unless you zoom in all the way and try to follow them down EVERY street. If it actually kept a list of what roads you were on I could see that being useful.

And pac man, ahahaha. That would be awesome.
