  1. I just got my set and they are different. The 70 software allows waypoints in the navigation

    Couldn't we do that already?

And to quote from that auction:

This upgrade will update your look and function to look like the N3 and D2.

Again, how is this any different than the 60s?

  2. ok, how about navigation already built-in, no dvd's required... with a detachable usb face plate that hold's 20-40GB  , who's with me? lol

Or at the very least have a USB port so you can plug one of those USB keys into it.

Then again I have an ipod, so its really not necessary

  3.

If you have rear vents for the passengers, you won't need these two vents anyway. If you wanted to keep the vents, you would need to fabricate a casing for the Z1 which would protrude above the dash and probably look like shit.

The grand cherokee doesn't have rear vents.

  4. Nice photoshopping job, and it looks cool but it would take a hell of a lot of work.

Have you looked into just getting the RB1 from Mopar? Its probably the closest you can get for your Grand Cherokee. It'll run you a little cheaper than the Z1, and you'll save tons on installiation.

  5. I'm guessing you're looking for the answers to the even numbered questions. Since everything I've seen so far says the answers to the odd number questions is in the text itself.

Textbooks may give you the odd answers, but not actually HOW to do those problems. If the question is "determine the electromagnetic inductance through a tightly wound solinoid with 50 turns sitting in a black hole with a 500N weight pressing down at 50 degrees K", and the answers in the back of the book says "6", thats really not too helpful.

And as for actually learning the material, the solutions are extremely helpful. Especially if you have a not-so-great professor. Last semester for example, I had this guy who could care less if anybody knew the material or not. He was at the school for research and they made him teach a physics class. Sitting in class staring at him didn't help me learn or understand what was going on or how it all worked, but reading the book and then being able to go through all the problems helped. I know what I'm doing, I've gone through two semester of physics.

And yeah I saw the instructor edition, but unfortionately you can't order that unless you're, well, an instructor

  6. I'm looking for solutions for this textbook: http://www.amazon.com/Modern-Physics-Sc ... 01-2429237

I'm pretty sure they exist but I can't find them anywhere.

If someone can find the full solutions to buy, I'll paypal you 10$. I'm really at the end of my rope. Solutions are great in order to learn the material, and I was able to find them for all my other textbooks this semester except for that one.

    Good luck.

  7. No it can't be done with the screen closed on the unit. Not sure about the steering wheel remote, there is a possibility the CDSR1 steering wheel remote would do it

If I get the CDBTB100 for my N3, How do I answer an incoming call? Can it be done using one of the buttons when the screen is closed? Can it be done using the steering wheel remote? I don't drive with the screen open all of the time, so having to open it just to answer a call would be a pain in the ass.

Also, would I get stuck manually reconnecting my phone every time I get in the car, or would it automatically do so as long as I configured it once and I have the bluetooth in my phone turned on?

    Bah well that sucks.

Why can't pioneer just release a bluetooth unit for the N series?

And I have the VC1, not the SR1

  9. Cough, cough, hack, hack......sorry, I just inhaled part of my own face! Does anyone actually think he is worth that? Honestly, can he actually justify that kind of money?

No hes not worth it at all, however with all the publicity he generated for Sirius their number of subscribers shot up dramatically.

DAmn pioneer and they're XM pushing. It works though, cause I've debated getting Xm ever since getting my N3 so I can use all the extra features. Probably not going to yet though cause it will cost me extra money for new XM units.
